World Conservation Day and The Power of Solar Energy

SHINE Partners | July 2022

On July 28th, we celebrate World Conservation Day. This is an important day to reflect on the state of our planet and take action to protect our environment. One way we can do this is by embracing solar energy.

World conservation day was first created on December 5, 1972, by the United Nations general assembly and is celebrated annually on July 28th. The day was designed to promote worldwide awareness and action for protecting our environment. The goal is to encourage people to appreciate the importance of nature in their lives and take action to protect it.

Unfortunately, humans have had a negative impact on the world’s ecosystems. We have cleared forests, polluted rivers, and oceans, and caused the extinction of many species of plants and animals. All of this has taken a toll on our planet’s resources.

However, it’s not too late to make a difference. On World Conservation Day, let’s pledge to do our part in preserving the world’s natural beauty for future generations. Together, we can make a difference.

One of the many ways that businesses can operate more sustainably is by switching to solar. Solar power is becoming an increasingly popular way for businesses to save money and protect the environment. In celebration of World Conservation Day on July 28th, we wanted to share some information about why solar power is an excellent choice for businesses.

Solar power is a renewable source of energy that doesn't contribute to climate change or to the detriment of mother nature. It also can help businesses save money on their energy bills and operate more sustainably.

Solar power is one of the most renewable and cleanest sources of energy that we have available to us – and as more and more people switch to solar, the positive impact it has on the environment becomes even more remarkable.

Switching to solar not only helps conserve our natural resources but also reduces pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. In fact, according to the EPA, going solar can offset the equivalent of 4.5 metric tons of carbon dioxide each year – that’s the same as planting 100 trees!

Moreover, by using solar energy instead of fossil fuels, we can help preserve our planet for future generations. Solar power is a sustainable source of energy that will never run out, making it an ideal choice for those who want to do their part in protecting our planet.

On World Conservation Day, make the switch to solar and do your part in preserving our planet for future generations. You’ll be glad you did!

Solar energy is a powerful resource that can help us reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and save money in the process. On World Conservation Day, let’s celebrate the power of solar energy and commit to making the switch.
